New Year

We had a fabulous time in Orlando! Shopping, a movie at City Walk, many wonderful meals and the best part, lots of family time talking and laughing! On New Year’s Eve we ate at an early hour so we would miss the rush then got lovely adult beverages and sat outside at Universal City Walk and watched really weird people parade by! We went back to the room for room service midnight snacks and to watch on TV as the ball dropped in Times Square. The next morning we ate breakfast in bed and then dressed and headed to the Capital One Bowl where Alabama clobbered Michigan State. What a way to start the new year!

Now we are safely home and I have spent the day, washing clothes and taking Jon to the doctor. He has an awful cold and has to leave again on Wednesday for Las Vegas. After 3 hours at the doctor’s we went to the grocery store and finally got home to fix and eat dinner. I have bills to pay and confirmation certificates to fill in with calligraphy as well as trying to learn my lines (I know I am early but you know me!) so three hours sitting at the doctor’s was not what I wanted to be doing! But hopefully Jon will be better soon and I can get my work done!

I am so glad to have this week to get all organized but I am anxious to get back into the groove of school. Even Jon said he was anxious to get back- but this is his last semester so I understand his excitement to be done!

All in all they were nice holidays and they aren’t over yet!
