When I walked to dance class today there was a girl in the low branches of a tree near the music building. She was only about 4 feet off of the ground and was peacefully studying. I walked to class. After class I headed back towards the music building and noticed people yelling up into the tree next to the one I had seen the girl in earlier. Now there was another girl about 15-20 feet up in the branches of this tree. The people on the ground were telling her they were tired and going inside. She sat among the branches and made no comment so they left. Evidently it was “climb a tree at school day” and I did not get the memo, which is just as well.
Short acting class, did some prep work for a scene for Thursday and then I got a lot of work done on my history study guide. Went to dance which was fairly easy today thank goodness and then I finished my acting book. Had a short rehearsal with the accompanist, met with the costume chic to get my instructions for next week’s production and I came home. On a day like today I feel like I have a handle on things. I have registered for an even fuller load next semester so we shall see. At least there is no dancing involved!
